things i've done

i completed my online application for my visa. Monday I go to the biometric appointment to get scans of my fingers and my face, lol. Then send in my application to LA Embassy to get the approval. Hopefully I applied for the right visa. lol. If not then I have to do the whole process again.

I have an appointment at the travel clinic on Tuesday but I am going to have to get a lot of shots and i'm scared about that. pain is not my friend.

I put in my cart on amazon.com some travel books about England and Scotland, 16GB IPod Touch, and some other things. I just have to find out if my laptop can handle the voltage over there, so i have to go to apple or talk to someone at apple online.

Finally got awarded stuff for financial aid so i'm not freaking out about that. I'm getting about 7,000 per semester which is nice. Tutition cost 2,191 at state right now.

Sent in my application for my dorm and the arrival form for University of Hertfordshire so I can get picked up at the airport when I arrive there.

Now, it is just waiting period again which kind of sucks but it should be all right.

Time to relax, tomorrow and next week is going to be BUSY! =)

This week.

So this week, i have so far got my insurance for studying abroad and turned it in to the study abroad office, just brought my ticket to London, printed out academic approval form, and registered for the class which will show I am still a full time student. I started a folder full of the information. ahh! I will be leaving on Friday September 18th and arrive in England on Saturday September 19th at 10:55am. oh dear. I am totally freaking out now. lol.

Next week I am going to get my visa, do the dorm application, complete academic approval form, email Valerie my major advisor, calling up the travel center at SJSU to get my shots and other things, buying books on England and maps!, look into getting a ipod touch and a small camera because mine is going to break soon, switching over to my old LG phone and not using my blackberry anymore, and making multiple copies of everything.

It is going to be one busy summer. =)

so, this blog is going to have all the adventures pre departure to the arrival in Hatfield, England and during the time I'm in England. Hope you enjoy about nine months of crazy times in Europe from my perspective. =)
